Hello and welcome to my website, dedicated to all of you who love culture, nature the relaxation, and why not...
Also genuine food and good wine! I would be really pleased to guide you on the constantly new itineraries available which can be tailored to you, and where I will take you to discover the most hidden corners of our cities and towns.
With you, I will admire the territory, by using the same eyes our illustrious ancestors used to admire these lands so rich in history and stories to be told; together we will appreciate even the smallest and apparently insignificant details.
If you are ready to live this wonderful experience with me, my beloved places await you!
Speaking of Cortona
Among the sites of particular cultural interest in Cortona are the MAEC (Museum of the Accademia Etrusca and the city of Cortona), which houses artifacts and paintings from various periods, the Museo Diocesano, with its celebrated “Annunciation" by Fra Angelico and the beautiful paintings of Luca Signorelli and his school. There are numerous churches, noble palaces and typical Medieval streets offering breathtaking views.
Dominating the summit of the hill is the Sanctuary of Santa Margherita, which preserves the uncorrupted relics of the saint, and the Girifalco Fortress, build by Cosimo De’Medici. The Hermitage of Le Celle, founded by St. Francis of Assisi in 1211 is a short distance away.
